倪有彬是個對電影懷抱著熱情的時空快遞，他手中的戒指只要一經旋轉，便可以自由地穿梭在不同時間之中，為任用他的「使者」執行交付物件的工作，在即將結束快遞生涯的最后一次時空旅行，「使者」安排了倪有彬一個學以致用的任務，協助電影公司拍攝實境電影前導片的工作，于是倪有彬向電影公司自我推薦。
電影公司的老板志明，并沒有多余的資金聘請知名的大導演，面對前來面試的倪有彬，又有種說不出的親切與熟悉感，于是在看過資料之后，沒有太多選擇下，便任用了他。
這是倪有彬首次正式擔任導演的工作，但在他加入劇組之后，才知道這幾乎是一個「不可能的任務」──志明的公司因資金不足，僅能仰賴金主的投資，但對方卻只提供了十萬元的預算，并提出了許多夸張且不合理的需求，還甚至要求將旗下芭樂汁品牌置入電影中。
在極度匱乏的資源之下，劇組在租金便宜但疑似鬧鬼的場景里，讓來自三教九流的非專業演員，頂著...
